Help children like Abi get home for Christmas

Donate to the Hand Heart Pocket 2017 Christmas Appeal

No matter what part of Queensland you call home, if there’s a child who has sustained critical injuries or is seriously ill, they’ll be sent to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane – one of the largest children’s hospitals in the Southern Hemisphere.

It’s where thousands of critically ill or injured children from across the state receive expert hospital care each year. Of those children, around 50% came from regional and remote parts of the state.

The Hand Heart Pocket 2017 Christmas Appeal is proudly supporting the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the official charity of the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.

100% of all donations will help support the rehabilitation of 600 critically ill Queensland children through the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital this year, funding vital equipment and services like music therapy sessions.

Please give generously today!

How your donation can help

"Our lives came to a complete standstill when the car accident happened."

We didn’t know if young Abi would survive or what her future would be. It was touch and go for months.

Thanks to the incredible team at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, Abi’s quality of life has improved significantly. Even though she will be wheelchair bound for the rest of her life and require 24/7 care, we have a saying in our family that, ‘there’s nothing Abi can’t do, she’ll just do it her way!’

To ensure other sick kids from across Queensland can access the same care and rehabilitation Abi received, we must support the Children’s Hospital Foundation, who help fund vital equipment and services at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, so please dig deep!
